A friend of ours has a house in Maine and she gave us the keys for Easter weekend. It was a nice trip! Okay, it was actually kind of a comedy of errors, where the car broke down twice, our "easy" 1.4 mile hike ended up a 3 hour sludge through mud, rivers, snow and ice, and we discovered James is screamingly scared of riding the car at night. But still, it was very pretty, the house overlooked a lake, we had a fire in the fireplace, Bridgton was a cute little town, it was all just nice. I definitely want to go back to the White Mountains - they were beautiful. Pictures!

Our first hint of snow, 1/3 of the way there
Knee deep in snow and starting to have second thoughts, almost there, though...
We made it to the waterfall!

I really love being a mother. I had no idea I would like it this much, but I should of guessed, considering how much I wanted kids, and how much I enjoyed working with them before I got into computers. I can't wait to bring James to the beach!
