Xion spent a lot of time walking around Paixao, it seemed. Still, it was better than going back to her room, and meant that she usually got to meet some really nice people, even though almost all of those conversations started a bit oddly.

Case in point: obvious newcomer on a bench.

Xion frowned at his kind of strange clothing- she didn't think she'd ever seen anything like that before- but it was soon overcome by the fact that he really didn't seem to know what was going on. She wasn't wearing her coat, but her face was still hooded, so she quietly walked over. "Hi," she said, a little awkwardly, but she was never really good at starting conversations, "Um. Are you ok?"

After all the people who had spoken to him he wasn't exactly expecting some stranger to be the first person he encountered. And this person was strange in more sense than one since they were wearing a hood to cover their face. Odd, but honestly after everything else going on Rory wasn't really in the mood to question it too much.

He offered her a tired smile regardless, although if you asked him if it was tired because of lack of sleep (he'd been about to go to bed in the TARDIS) or from the events that had rapidly spiraled out of control you probably would not get a definite answer. "Hi," he hesitated, very much aware of how ridiculous he must look. At least he felt ridiculous. "Uhm...not really, but since there's nothing I can really do about it then I don't really see the point in troubling someone with my problems." Especially to a stranger who, as far as he could tell with the hood, was presumably a young girl.

Simba had finally gotten out of Vyers' apartment. He understood that Timon and...well...everyone was worried about him, but he was all better now, and it was in the middle of the day! The pseudo sun was shining and there were plenty of people around. There was also a vary familiar scent, the source having to be close by. A grin spread out over his muzzle and he raced to find Xion.

It wasn't long before he found her. Or, was at least pretty sure he found her. The scent was right, but the fur clothes were different. It looked like she was talking to someone who was in funny clothes. "Hey, Xion! Is that you?" Simba trotted over to the bench and tried to look at the face under the hood.

Well, Xion probably should have expected that reaction. She didn't know this person, after all. Maybe she shouldn't have come over here at all. "I guess maybe it wouldn't... did you just get here?" He looked like he had, but she didn't want to jump to any conclusions.

Then she heard a familiar voice, and turned. "Oh! Hi, Simba." She smiled at him as he came over, though moved enough so that he couldn't see the rest of her face.

Rory had thought that his newness would be obvious but apparently to the girl (yes, he was deciding "it" was a girl). "Yeah," he replied, "Just got here and found out the only person here who should knows me doesn't. Not exactly a great welcome." He felt kind of bad confessing it, but he'd been sitting on the bench for awhile now and he had to get it out to somebody.

He was about to ask the girl's name or at least for directions to the nearest clothing store when something completely unexpected happened. Now, considering what all had happened to him so far that was saying something but one didn't normally prepare themselves for a lion to walk out onto the street and start calmly pawing its way towards them. "GAH!" Rory scrambled up onto the bench, like that would help, and then nearly fell off the bench when the creature actually TALKED.

No. No no no no no there is NO way that THAT is a talking lion,' he thought in a panic. If he didn't look ridiculous before in a bath robe and pjs he looked even more ridiculous now standing ( ... )

Simba frowned as Xion moved to he couldn't catch her face, but her new friend distracted him.

Simba cocked his head at the new human. Seriously, what was with humans and thinking he was weird? "Well...you're a talking human." Simba sat on his haunches and pointed a paw towards him.

He sighed. "I'm Simba, and this is my friend Xion." He softly swiped at her leg, whacking her without having his claws extended. Why was she acting weird? In any case, she should cut it out.
