When You Just Feel Lost
Character(s): Rory & Open (cause I couldn't decide!)
Content: Rory sits on a bench and contemplates the heck he's gotten himself into completely by accident.
Setting: Inside Muspelheim gate on a bench
Time: Week 31? Midday

Rory was still wearing his bathrobe and pajamas because he was mostly still lost. Lost in so many ways. The Doctor was here and normally that would have him a bit more relieved but this was not the Doctor he had known. Well, it was, but he hadn't met him yet. This was Amelia's imaginary, raggedy Doctor. How did that even work? The Doctor had never mentioned anything like that before...of course, Rory realized, that would have been "spoilers." Well, now Rory was having to deal with spoilers and he wasn't sure how much he could keep. It was one thing to not tell the Doctor one detail about his future, but to not tell him a whole lifetime of things? That seemed nearly impossible.
"But River does it all the time, doesn't she," he muttered to himself. He didn't seem to care that a man sitting on a bench muttering in his bathrobe might appear a little odd.
Well, if he was going to be stuck here he needed to start getting to know the place didn't he? So far he hadn't ventured much further than the gate he had walked though. Mostly because it seemed like a pretty important landmark in case Amy or the Doctor needed to find him. He looked down at his clothes, he also needed to find a shop soon and get a change. After all, who really wanted to go exploring in their night clothes?
Rory sighed and looked at the little journal device again, flipping it open to read through the messages. Maybe he should look for this Rose person first. She seemed to know a lot about the Doctor. He did know he wanted to find the TARDIS and the Doctor he knew, just to see for himself. 'You're not going to get any of that done if you just sit here you know' he thought to himself. Still, it was hard to find the motivation to leave the bench because he just knew if avoiding talking about Amy was difficult over this device with the Doctor it was going to be nearly impossible in person.
