When You Just Feel Lost

Content: Rory sits on a bench and contemplates the heck he's gotten himself into completely by accident.
Setting: Inside Muspelheim gate on a bench
Time: Week 31?  Midday

He remembered them, but they didn't remember him? Xion gave him a rather sad smile. "Yea... I kind of know how that feels."

But then he seemed so surprised when Simba approached. She frowned, looking up at him as he stood and his slow progression downwards. Of course Simba could talk. Though apparently he telling the man that covered. She made a slightly surprised noise when he whacked her- it hadn't hurt, she just didn't know why he was doing that. Maybe she'd ask him later. "What's your name?" she asked the rather strange man.

Xion and Simba were acting like a talking lion was no big deal. Why was it Rory was always made to feel like the odd one out when HE was the one being perfectly normal. "Yes well humans talk and---," actually wait, he was talking to a LION. Rory sighed, "I guess lions talk too." He settled down on the bench completely again, resisting the urge to rest his head in his hands.

He looked at the two again. Right, he hadn't introduced himself yet. "Rory Williams. I'm sort of new...so...sorry about the whole spastic avoidance of the lion...thing" And now he was apologizing to a lion.

Simba shrugged. "I get it a lot." Honestly, he was just glad Rory apologized and didn't continue to gape like he was some sort of freak.

"You're not hungry, are you? I was thinking about getting some ice cream." Simba's new favorite food. Thank you Roxas, Xion, and Namine. He looked back and forth between Xion and Rory, waiting to see what they would say.

Of course, once ice cream was mentioned Xion perked up. "That sounds good." She was never not hungry when it came to ice cream, after all. The girl turned to look at Rory, the smile visible under the hood. "Do you want to come? The ice cream's really good..."

First it was a talking lion and now it was a lion that wanted ice cream. Rory wasn't sure he could handle much more of this really. He looked around, half expecting the Doctor to show up or that Rose person. It didn't look like it though and it wasn't like he couldn't use that electronic device to contact them again.

So, despite perhaps his better judgment Rory agreed, "Sure. Ice Cream sounds great." He paused, looking down at his robes again, "But...well." He paused, it would be weird to ask the lion so he directed the question at the girl, "Do you happen to know where the nearest clothing store is? I'd rather change clothes first instead of going off in my pajamas."
