If it wasn't for cure magic, Terra would probably be bed ridden from the fight with Alexander, if not outright dead. But all three of the people in that fight had been well equipped with fairly high level cure spells, so he was no worse for wear the next day, except maybe for a dull, lingering soreness, though that was something Terra was more than used to.

As for the matter of being stuck here? Well, there were only so many times Terra could try to leave, only to end up back in this city. So for the moment, Terra decided to wait, not give up, mind, since Terra was hardly the type to. But just wait.

So he was currently occupying himself by browsing a small shop at was near the apartment Lightning and Hope stayed in. His perusal of the stores shelves would bring him near the red-haired young man.

Ah, there was the scent he'd been looking for. Deep, strong darkness that lurked around a core of light. A heart that had not yet entirely given in to the darkness within it, but saw little fear in staring into the darkness. It was something he hadn't felt for a very long time, but it was very much familiar. Xehanort, or someone who could very nearly be him.

Very interesting. He'd need to look more into the matter later. After all, as far as he'd ever heard, Xehanort had never recalled his past and the Superior had certainly never claimed to have learned anything new, not that he'd really pressed to much. But given the few cases of Nobodies being born without memories of their past lives he's seen thus far it would make sense. And yet, should this unassuming young man prove to have a connection with the Superior he wasn't quite sure he wished to mention it. Not even he could tell what would be changed if Xemnas learned more of his past.

But that didn't mean he wasn't about to talk to him. How better was he to learn, after ( ... )

Terra was somewhat startled that someone started up a random conversation with him. It wasn't something Terra was really used to happening all that often.

"Oh. Um, nothing really," Terra replied, looking down at the red haired man, "What about you?"

It was that unfamiliarity that Zexion was relying on. If people were surprised, they were off balance and that in turn made it easier to get what one was expecting of them. Of course, it still took a gentle touch, but he was certainly no stranger to that. A little nudge here, and a push there and one could get the most unique results.

But for now, he needed to arrange for an appropriate first impression and so he arranged his face into one of mild disinterest and shrugged.

"Nothing particular. These places are a bit hit or miss."

Terra, of course, was completely unaware of Zexion's plans. He was also, generally speaking, the type to give people the benefit of the doubt.

That tendency had come back to bite him several times already. But the young man that was talking to him didn't seem at all threatening or suspicious,, so Terra's guard was down, so to speak.

"Well, it's nothing like I've seen back home," So he had to give Paixao that, at least.
