Lara had not been seen publicly in the city ever since she helped to solve the mystery of St. Destino. She had been far too busy with researching the city to socialize, as much as she enjoyed it from time to time. Still, all work and no play made one rather dull (to paraphrase a certain saying), and so the Englishwoman had decided it was to her advantage to go for a walk after breakfast and a nice cup of tea.

So it was that the archaeologist was briskly walking through the city when she noticed something... rather odd. Raising an eyebrow, Lara watched the woman, content to simply allow events to play out for the time being.

Urd crossed her arms behind her head as she walked, the journal floating beside her and the brochure opening in front of her by itself. For the briefest second, the letters seemed to shimmer and she could catch glimpses of characters from hundreds of languages before it settled into something she could read.

She scanned it quickly, occasionally glancing around the city. Unsurprisingly, the brochure was less informative than it was an advertisement. She sighed, waving a hand slightly. The brochure tossed itself into a nearby trash can.

Out of nowhere, Urd was gone, vanished. For a split second, it was like she'd never been there.

From behind Lara, Urd's voice said in sing song tone, "Hello." She stood only a foot behind the other woman, arms crossed, a smile curving her lips.

Lara had been watching the strange woman, hidden by the crowd. After meeting colorful characters such as Sonic and the Doctor, seeing a woman walk by with objects floating about her was nothing unusual. Having seen what had just transpired, however, peaked her interest. This woman was dangerous - friendly-seeming,but dangerous nonetheless. All in all, nothing Lara wasn't accustomed to (especially considering she was a dangerous woman herself).

Lara whipped around at the voice, hands automatically going to the guns she still kept strapped to her thighs. She refrained from drawing them, however, and settled for merely placing her hands on her hips and grinning (no use in causing trouble when there may not even be trouble to be had). "Good morning."

Tilting her head, Urd glanced down at the woman's guns before flicking back to her face. "You don't really need those here, do you?" she asked, raising her eyebrows slightly. Whoever this woman was, she seemed to have some interest in her. Maybe she'd be interested in trading information. It had to yield better results than the brochure. "Is it dangerous here?"

Well, this was interesting. Lara matched the look the woman was giving her, deciding to play nice for the time being. After all, this was an opportunity to gather some information on the woman, and maybe even about the city itself (though that was unlikely). "They come in handy from time to time," Lara replied. "There have been, shall we say, unpleasant events within the city occasionally." The last social function Lara had attended, she'd ended up fighting off the Heartless.

Then again, that had been fun, and as Lara herself had once told a friend, it wasn't a party until something got broken.
