Taking a bold, stomping step forward, his eyes brimming with adrenaline from the intense, practically blissful rush of finding such a strong opponent, Luffy took up a readied stance, both of his fists upraised at his sides and his limber legs flexed and bent lightly. It was easy to tell just how lethal this man was, especially if he had enough room to really stretch out and start swinging, but Luffy still seemed to want more! His eyes were glowing, his expressions bright and eager, with a pearly grin spread from ear to ear across his face

That had been a waste of time. And a lesson in humility, come to that; Luffy had shown him a good fight, if a brief one. He was strong, agile, and -fast-. Qualities one did not generally find all in the same person. To date, Sephiroth knew only one other, and that was himself. But even his own flexibility paled in comparison to this fighter, whose body seemed made of rubber

It had been a very short hike to reach the cafe, not that Death minded walking. Travel on foot was no problem when you simply didn't tire. He quickly sought out his contact, finding him amidst the sort of mess one would normally associate with a fight. Had something happened while Death was en route? If so, who had his contact's opponent been?

Both good questions, and both to be answered later. Right now, his first priority was making sure the rest of his traveling companions had arrived with him - a quick glance over his shoulder assured him they had - and making contact.

GOOD AFTERNOON, SEPHIROTH, he greeted the silver-haired man. I HOPE WE HAVE NOT KEPT YOU WAITING.

Usagi came puffing up beside Death a few moments later. Man, Paixao was a big place. She glanced around the cafe, a little surprised by all of the debris. Maybe things weren't so peaceful after all. With a little concern, Usagi examined their new contact. He was pretty intimidating...but then, so was everyone else in the group to some degree. Except her.

She tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear, fully intent on allowing Death to do most of the talking. She scans the crowd to glimpse at Sheik to reassure herself. Strange that, just hours ago, Usagi attacked Death but she now felt comfortable around the man...skeleton...thing.

Summoning her courage, Usagi waves at Sephiroth and smiles. Unceremoniously, she plops down at the table across from him. "I'm Usagi," she announces. "Death seems to think you can help us."

Auron calmly walked into the cafe, surveying the damage and wondering what had led up to the fight that had obviously taken place here. He heard Duo and Usagi introduce themselves and turned to look at who he assumed was Sephiroth, surprised to see that it happened to be the man he'd spoken to on the journals.

With a short nod, Auron gave a short introduction, just his name. "It seems our meeting is going to be earlier than planned," he said, the corner of his mouth upturning slightly.
