San Francisquito Creek: Autumn Color & Stolen Safes

Sunday's visit to San Francisquito Creek in search of local autumn color led to a discovery of another cache of stolen safes.  I thought the safes discovered during our previous visit there were a fluke, but apparently not -- this stretch of the creek bed is seemingly a supermarket of safes ( Read more... )

Cornelis Bol Park, With Donkeys

On Saturday, after checking out the water-wise demonstration garden in Palo Alto, D. and I went to nearby Cornelis Bol Park for a short walk, where we happened upon the locally famous Barron Park donkeys.  Here are some of the pics I took.
