San Francisquito Creek -- The Fall
Finally, here are the pics from my November 14 return visit to San Francisquito Creek, when I fell in the mud and broke my shoulder.
The creek bed.
A buckeye hangs from a bare branch.
Autumn color ablaze in the creek bed.
A discarded pinball game in the creek bed gravel.
A discarded nail coil for a nail gun rusts on the bank of the creek.

The creek bed gets wetter as we get closer to the edge of the Bay.
Another stolen safe, abandoned in the creek.
Abandoned battery charger/engine starter.
Miscellaneous hardware discarded onto the creek bank.
A folding wheelchair and a microwave oven.

Raccoon tracks in the mud. Right after I took this picture I fell hard enough onto my right side to fracture my humerus and create a massive grotesque bruise the entire way from my armpit to just below my elbow. I went directly to the emergency room, covered in mud. I never found out how far the raccoon tracks went.
