immoral dilemma

Mar 10, 2008 10:28

“It’s O.K., love. It was an accident.” Barbossa whispered into Jack’s ear.

I have found Jack/Barbossa mpreg fic.
Badly written Jack/Barbossa mpreg fic.

To spork or not to spork?

If yes, then where and how?
On the other hand, please, for the love of something , tell me to be sensible and leave it alone.

Did I mention there's also Jack/Davy Jones tentacle rape?

Oh, ye gods and little fishes. *headdesk*

You poor thing. You must be scarred for life!

If by spork you mean 'draw (negative) attention to this fic' my vote is no. I'm all in favour of ignoring it and hoping it'll go away. IOW, in other words, be sensible and leave it alone. You might catch something nasty and unresponsive to antibiotics. *g*

If Jack and Barbossa are getting
in the family way" has Jack been unfaithful or was it non-con with Davy (the putrid squid!)

Heh, heh, ooh, ouch! Don't hit!

... well I hope the accident to which he is referring is the accidental abortion Jack got.

Sadly, no. Jack is upset because his morning sickness has messed the cabin floor. Hector is being comforting. The baby is very precious to both of them.

This is so disturbing on so many levels.

I suggest an ostrich policy on this one. If your head's in the sand, you can't see the travesty.

You're right, of course, but I have seen it and now it's like an itchy scab. I can't leave it alone.

Too late - it's soaked right in. :(

Wow. That is really disturbing.

However, another friend of mine spent time sporking something equally as bad in the LOTR fandom, and if she'd talked about it ahead of time, I would have told her what I'm here to tell you:

Don't do it! For the sake of all the high eldritch heathen gods, leave it alone! You're a brilliant writer! It would be a giant waste of your powers to spend time making fun of something lousy when you could be creating something good.

Please, please-- listen to the Buffalo.

LISTEN TO THE BUFFALO!

That sounds downright mystical!

A good plan though. in fact use the old "Dallas escape clause": go to bed with a nice cool compress on your fevered brow. And after a good night's wake up and say, "it was all a bad dream!"

I know you're right. I am trying to listen to the buffalo, really I am. It's just that it... itches. I had to write a private sporking yesterday as a form of brain bleaching.

You have no idea what I'm up against here. (But if you want to know, I've edited the post to add a link...)

Probably just as well not to get involved. However, could you hint where one might find such a thing? Like trainwrecks, something compells me to look.

It'd be better if Barbossa was pissed and kicked Jack down the stairs in an effort to get rid of it. Why does mpreg = OOC? ... Okay, why ask "why" mpreg anything.

I've pondered on this some more and decided that if it's on fanfiction.net, it deserves a sporking. Too bad it can't go on heave-ho. Though if you made a case for Jack being the Mary Sue, perhaps it could...

it's on fanfiction.net
How did you guess?

I thought about heave_ho. Jack is totally Barbossa's little Marywarysooziewoozie, so, yes. But I'm still trying to be mature and sensible.
Godammit I'm a middle-aged woman picking on some kid whose first language is clearly not English. But... it's just. So. So. Bad.

There's a clear difference between bad mechanics and bad writing. The second can happen in any language.
