"Jack and Barbossa seemed a bit OOC to me. Barbossa doesn't seem the type to comfort a man (and Jack of all people) sobbing into his chest or to admit love to a man so readily. Plus the term 'OK' in this story kind of irks me. According to that term wasn't used until around the 1830s.
I adore Jack/Barbossa, don't get me wrong. This fanfic just needs a bit of proofreading is all. Maybe find yourself a Beta-reader. :)"

"Kind of irks me" (meaning, presumably, "makes me want to tear my eyes from their sockets and dynamite my monitor") is just beautiful!
