So I somehow missed hearing that Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton will be playing two shows at Cafe du Nord in SF this Friday. The first show is sold out, but there's a midnight show that still has tickets (only $12!). Had I know about the show, I wouldn't have taken last Sunday off but would have taken Friday off instead. yeah im sure friends only will be fine. just if the coworker or a fellow employee/manager found it, some companies will actually have you fired for disclosing something before it happened, and to the world. heck of people (usually in big cities though or high profile jobs) who write about them get in major trouble from companies. if they write about work and its easy to connect who's writing the stuff they can def. fire or pursue some kind of suspension or whatever at work. its scary stuff.

Good to know, thank you. I went ahead and made it friends-only, and also took out the individual's name, just as a safeguard. Think that works?

yeah that's totally fine i'm sure. if it's friends only, i'm sure the only way you would ever need to edit the name is if you were afraid that someone who can read the journal would ever show it to someone else.
