OMG I know! I was yelling "WHOOOOO!" at the TV! It was so awesome!

I want an icon too! Curse my slow, graphics-unprocessing computer!

But Monica! She is so cool!

(I posted some Monica icons here, if you want any. All from the episode before this, though.)

It did! I mean, the parts that drive me nuts still drive me nuts, but the plot seems to be picking up, and one part is pure awesome. I'm hoping it continues and that the sucky plot bits get resolved soon.

It's not completely implausible, since it seems to have roots in Clavell's Shogun, which was based on a historical figure. On the other hand, it's still pretty damn implausible, especially given that he's basically a ronin and bandit at best, and it's 1680-something instead of 1590-something like in Shogun, which means the new shogunate has probably settled down somewhat and social structures are probably solidifying. But yeah, it's totally "what you need is a white guy" and bad writing at that, since it shoves aside one of the show's most popular characters.

Mohinder's being stupid again! Whyyyyy?

I'll give him half a pass for this, because he knows he's doing something, er, problematic. He just doesn't see a better choice, and I don't think that's crazy of him--I mean, Molly does have a wacky power-related problem that a regular hospital probably won't be able to help.

trying to figure that out myself shati October 23 2007, 20:56:43 UTC
He did first meet Molly while she was in Company custody, and it looks like that worked out okay somehow -- he got to treat her virus, and then over those four months she wound up in his custody. That, and for all he knows she's dying, and the Company is a lot more competent than Mohinder or Matt.

Niki's plot I'm not even gonna try to make sense of.

This is true!

Oh Niki. I like you lots, but you really need a new plot.

No problem, and thanks for the link.

My crazy theory is that Veronica's dad is Papa Petrelli. We know that we're not done with him yet, what with his mysterious "death" and all, and with the weirdness of his face turning away in the all-important picture. And it would give her the promised link to both the Petrellis and Claire.

Eh?

Hrm. Meaning he's still alive?

I was thinking she might be the Alchemist's daughter, though he's not really evil-geniusy enough. He's more evil-middle-management, really. I call dibs on Veronica being the daughter of somebody upstream of the Alchemist. I woulda said Linderman, only he's thoroughly dead.

Anyone know where I can find a copy of that photo with everyone 1st-Gen in it that's being ripped up to warn of death?

Hee! That would be pretty cool! She and Claire would be half-sisters!
