I'm way south of Staffs, pretty much in the middle of the country. But I can drive 100 miles in any direction and get all different kinds of scenery.

I love the English countryside wherever I am, really. Cornwall, Cumbria, Dorset, Hull... ♥ But Staffordshire will always be my favourite. You're lucky! I wish I could drive. They won't let me - all the medication impairs my reflexes too much.

I'd definitely miss the freedom of driving if I didn't have it - such a shame you can't drive.

Cumbria is definitely one of my favourites - I love hiking in the Lakes.

That's just a gorgeous picture. Especially the lighting. Thank you for posting.

And even the shaggy sheep look pretty in a "spring is here" sort of way - though where I am we seem to be having less April weather and more March weather. It was warmer, by about 12C, at Christmas than it was yesterday for Easter. Strange.

Hee, the lighting is completely photoshop faked - I was playing. The sky was blue originally, and there wasn't really any camera flash on the sheep!

It's very springlike here - warm and sunny enough to need sunblock, though knowing England, it might be snowing next week!
