+ The porn battle has its own tags on del.icio.us! And it's own not-so-little section on the_wireless (eight BSG pornlets!)! I've lost track of how many stories/pieces of art/vids there are (pesha is an angel and is sorting and coding them for me for a roundup post), but I think there are 25 pornlets per page, and we're on page 7 and we're not even half way

There are -at present- 164 pieces total. There are 97 authors/artists in 53 fandoms (though some of those are only represented in crossovers). There are 21 crossovers, 7 pieces of art, and 4 links to either Extended Editions or author's notes.

The largest fandom representation is SGA with 44 pieces, the majority (vast majority) of which are John/Rodney.

There's a tie for most-productive author/artist between medie and all_you_wanted with both of them having produced 6 pieces each.

That's the present and accounted for tally to date!

Aw, I shouldn't cruise lj when I only have five minutes. It makes me want to stay all day! I'll definitely be back to admire at length, but I wanted to say BRAVA on another gorgeous FNL set! I have to admit, I saw #2 (or a version thereof) earlier, and was waiting-hoping it would become sharable. So beautiful. I'd been haunting fnl_icons, but nothing came close. I also love Street laughing and the two of Matt on the porch. These icons are like vintage photos, perfectly capturing the essence of a moment the same way the show does.

Ah, I did keep #2 back for myself for a little while - I like to have a few icons all to myself sometimes. But if you ever see one you really want, you're welcome to ask. I might say no, if it's a very personal one, but I'll generally share! Especially with someone who leaves such lovely comments! :-)

The icons - If I could make such beautiful icons, I'd never let them go! So I think I understand the sentiment and no worries or grasping from me. I perfected the fine art of icon stalking long ago and have learned to be patient ;)

The show - I'm with you on the Tyra love. It was her storyline that got me weepy. I didn't doubt for a second that her mother would choose that loser over her, so when she didn't... wow. My only fear is that this won't be the first time Mom's faced with that choice.

I've been tracking down icon-makers myself today - finding pretty ones in use, checking out their userpics page and then hunting through journals! Time consuming though!

I didn't know which way it was going to go with Tyra's mother. Which I like - I like not being able to anticipate how a storyline will develop.

I only really know of bigboobedcanuck from her fiction - she's written some amazing Veronica Mars stories that I've loved and recced. And yes, I do tend to like my squee pure and optimistic - a nice way of putting it. I'm not so much one for finding all the flaws in a show, and definitely not for reading all about them. So thanks for the suggestion. When I find some time...

How can people not comment on FNL..
Tyra and Mat stole the show for me this ep. I was not a big Tyra fan but getting this glimpse into her life just added to her strength and showed what an amazing actress she is. Her fight scene made me gasp.
Mat.. how can no one not find him adorable. I fall in love with him each episode. I just feel like I need to hug him.

As you can see am a huge FNL fan.. do you mind if I add you?

totally agree about tyra. my eyeballs were rivetted to the screen during that whole scene and when it was over all i could say was, damn. that girl is SO AWESOME.

Glad you like the colouring! As for earlier episodes, I've only capped odds and ends just for myself. But I zipped them up for someone, so they're here if you want them. Just a motley selection, of about 900 caps (and episode 9 is wrongly labelled as a continuation of episode 8).

I actually liked Tyra almost from the start. Not so much in the pilot, but since then. She's determined and something of a rebel, and smart, and clearly tends to pick the wrong guys all the time.

The more I see of Matt, the more I adore him. I keep wanting to make hearts in every comment!

And adding is fine! Though I should warn you that I'm absurdly multifandom, and liable to squee about all sorts! *g*

I have to admit that I wasnt a big Tyra fan bc I was/am a Tim and lyla fan. But I dont really care any other way now. Tyra has proven herself for me and am a big fan.

Cool I will go ahead and add you. And mulit-fandom is awesome I tend to get stuck in my fandom loops and I am always open to new ones. I hate feeling like am missing out on something.
