It's been a pretty good week.

Today I got a haircut, and then Carissa and I drank and watched flight of the conchords while geeking out over our screener Batman tickets for tuesday - I was following the whysoserious viral when it finished counting down, figured out the puzzle with my good friends from ontd, and scored tickets 30 and 36 out of 206 ( Read more... )

I tried putting my hair into pin curls last night and it looked adorable, so I slept on my couch as to not ruin it but it fell and now I'm sad. It looks like I did nothing.

I started my new job Saturday! I finished an art project that I don't hate that will open up the potential of doing a few potentially boring sets. I had such a good weekend. Carissa and I drove down to Seattle and after accidentally ditching each other, she went to a couple house parties and I went to a show with Jeff, who is a pretty cool guy. I get this really tight, excited feeling in my chest when I listen to songs that make me happy and all I've been doing the past couple days when I'm by myself is collecting a lot of them and sing along and draw and paint and sew and oh, it's lovely.

There are a lot of emotions rattling around right now.

I went to the post office yesterday to mail this padded envelope because I can never figure out how many stamps I should put on anything, ever. When I went to the counter the USPS guy asked me if I wanted to spend 12.60 to send it overnight* so it would arrive by noon today, $4.80 to get there by about fourish, or $1.54 for it to get there by ( Read more... )
