Don't you love when I get all meta in the face of things?

It means the beginning and the ending, among other things, and tonight was the season premiere of SPN and the season finale of Burn Notice.

What a way to go!

Hee with Sam's line about Carla, "she's a machine." Evangelical Michael was phenomenal. I LOVED how he took out Lesher, you could tell that he was pissed off.

And, now that Nate's cut off the cheesy mustache, it's interesting that the actor also has some facial scars. Boy, papa!Westen was not such a good man at all.

opened a whole new world for the SPN writers to play in

Exactly what I said to connell last night. TPTB found a way to get themselves out of the Hell (hee) they had dug themselves into all last season. Hubby asked when Sammy got his hands-on power...and I was all I dunno. But it was kewl.

Is it kosher for a *good* angel to kill psychic kind of people?

I love how Burn Notice ended. We know he'll be ok...but just how pissed off is Michael going to be. Carla must suffer for this.

And since I didn't watch with full attention earlier in the season, how long has Syd's brother from Providence been in the show?

Of course he didn't actually kill the psychic. Blindness as a result of glimpsing the divine is biblical. Yay, for SPN actually remembering that there should be a God if there's a Devil. I know, that's a form of heresy but at least it acknowledges a force for good in the universe other than the Slayer.

I can squee! I can squee! I actually did *not* see the angel coming, surprisingly. I was thinking for the last 3/4 of the episode that 'yada yada, we've heard the whole 'demon that brings on the end' before, it's like a friggin' assembly line' but then BAM! Angel!
And he's kind of hot in a bizarre way. I was flinching for the whole scene where he was peering intently at Dean, dismayed that Dean had no faith, waiting for his eyes to start to burn. I loved the wings
It was a great first episode to, hopefully a great season.
