JD just talked to Ben, and Ben thinks he should leave, but not without JD, because they entered together and if he leaves without JD... then he'll just get stuck there waiting for JD anyway, while lot's of shit happens at the Inn. So JD's tapping the top of a table with a pen and trying to convince himself it's what should happen

"Well, s'not often I see you out here," Chase muttered, eyes focused on a newer file as he walks over to JD's table, "What're you thinkin' about, eh?"
So, sure, he's not all too close to JD at all, but there's a sort of protective concern he's started building for the younger doctor.

"Whether or not I should leave. I haven't been out since Ben and I came in together, and Ben kinda wants to leave at least get back to our own world for a little, but..." He shrugs, chewing on the pen and blabbing on. He can talk your head off when the walls aren't up as strongly. "I got responsibilities here. Responsibilities that I love very, very much and I don't want to be out for another 3 or 4 months or... something!"

"Have you tried explaining that to him?" Chase offers, settling in at a seat across from JD.

JD shrugs again, taking the pen out of his mouth. "I mean, we'll be back obviously. It's just y'never know how much time passes when you leave."

She remembers Sue from their brief meeting on movie night, how she'd wanted to come down here and play the piano and now George wished she had. The music made her smile, made her heart flutter much like.....Other things.
Eyes crack open for a brief moment ans she spots Juliet and a laugh ensues. Of course the other girl would be here.
Armed with a smile and a spring in her step she trots over to the girl, sitting herself beside the other. "We've got to stop meeting like this," she whispers with a laugh. "People'll start to talk."

Juliet isn't in any hurry to break that habit.
She smiles when she manages to gather her senses back together.
"People will talk? Well, we simply cannot have that."

"Then again," she replies, laughing a bit. "This is the Inn, there's gotta be stuff that's more interesting than us around for people to talk about."
Her fingers twitch slightly as the music plays on, as if she wants to play herself, but it's been years since George touched a piano. "I met her," she whispers then. "She came down when they had the movie night thing. Nice, I think we had popcorn."

At the whisper, Juliet's gaze turns up to the piano too. "Really? It sounds so very pretty." She glances at George's fingers with a curious expression. "Why are they moving like that?"

"Hallo, Dr. Dorian!" she says brightly, and kisses him.
Someone's happy.

"Hey, beautiful!" He kisses her back and slides his arms around her waist, immediately. "I've gotta say, you're looking extra gorgeous and happy today!"

The days since she broke up with Roger and got back with JD have been the happiest since... well, since before they broke up.

"Good." He laughs a little, because she's so adorable and God, his heart is thumping so hard, because he's holding her and she's happy and life is good this way. "Glad to hear it."
Of course, this also makes it harder to bring up the fact that he might be leaving soon. Not for forever, but for as long as the Inn determines.
