So if anyone honestly expected her to stay in her bed she'd call them crazy. She'd spent several days in a coma, and then another day in the damned infirmary so they could 'watch her', and now she was out and dear God she'd never loved the outdoors more.  Even though she ( Read more... )

In actuality, DG would find it impossible to ditch her guards, short of magic, of late. Every single one of them had been given a strict course in DG 101 ( ... )

Well they just sort of didn't get in her way, so let her think she was escaping yeah? Don't ruin her fun like that. In any case it wasn't like she was purposely trying to run away, she just wanted to get some time to herself - as she figured Cain would be all over her if she tried to prove that she was okay.

Running a hand through her hair she let out a slow sigh, her eyes turning upwards to the clouds as she shifted in her makeshift lounge chair. She had gotten sleep last night but because of the uncomfortable positions she had found herself in, it wasn't completely restful, so now she was cranky.

With a hand at her heart she stared at the person beside her with almost terror in her eyes, she hadn't seen that coming. Maybe she shouldn't allow herself to become so engrossed in her sketching, that could have helped prevented the heart failure she was sure was to accompany this visit.

"Please never do that again. I think you just shaved ten years off of my life." DG announced as she pointed at him with a finger before snatching up her pencil and pointing in his direction, for extra emphasis on how badly he'd scared her.
