If this is so, surely one should try and use those powers For Good, rather than in the pursuit of personal vendettas?

Have been tackling an email recently received from a very nice person with whom I have had intermittent but very amiable interactions over a lengthy period of years being a Nexpert in my field of expertise.

Unfortunately, this tends to lead to people thinking I am Font of All Wisdom in my field of study defined very widely indeed, which ain't so.

Not, I think, the same bagpiper but a different one, doing his thing in the official busker spot in Euston Tube Station.

This one is dressed in the gear, i.e. kilt, etc: plus sunglasses (huh?).

However, the actual music was not recognisably a reel or a fling or anything one could dance to or march to war encouraged by.

I have oft pointed at and mocked Amazon recommendations, but I find that the 'You added X to your collection, you may also like...' on Visual Bookshelf on Facebook pretty bizarre too.

I just added P C Hodgell*'s Bound in Blood (which has finally arrived after far too many emails from Amazon informing me that despatch would be delayed, yay).
