Motivated by Krotscheck, I picked up my pace. I did two miles at my usual 6.2 mph to warm up, then walked 0.2 miles for some recovery, then ran 1 mile in 7:48, beating my old personal record by over 40 seconds.
I think my ultimate, far off goals are:
1 mile in 6 minutes
5k in 21 minutes
Marathon in 4 hours
Goals for 2008:
1 mile in < 7 minutes
