1. What's your all-time favorite otome game?
If I had been asked this question a month earlier, my answer would have been Arabians Lost or Hiiro no Kakera. However, about three weeks ago my Houkago wa Gin no Shirabe came in. Notice, that's three weeks ago. It takes me about ten hours on and off to get through the game (including translating).

..............

I've managed to play through it six times already..........*sigh* Yeah, that hopeless, and I'm STILL going..... (must...get...all of Ren's CG's >_< There's this one absolutely adorable one I NEED to get ( ... )

Hello hello! I'm so happy this community exists! I've been interested in otome games for quite a long time, but just actually bought my first one only about 2 months ago... But I'm now obsessed! I'm ready for a world full of otome games! XDDD

1. As I said, I've only played one so far, and that's: TMGS Second Season for DS. And I love it! <3 ( ... )

Ok, for Duel Love, the storyline is... well in my personal opinion, almost non-existent. It's more of a hands-on game and definitely makes more use of the DS features than most of the other otome games (although it's definitely a bit iffy. If you going to play it outside the house, you definitely need to bring earphones, unless you WANT to explain why there are moans coming from you DS >//<) But it's also much simpler in terms of gameplay and translation (not nearly enough text or knowledge required ( ... )

Oh, thanks for all the info! I had kinda gotten the gist that Vitamin X was more text-heavy and that Duel Love involved a lot of touching from various reviews... Are the questions in Vitamin X really hard?? I guess they must be a little since the makers want it to be challenging for the Japanese people playing it... Maybe that would be good practice for me since this summer I'm really going to need to work on my speed-reading and brush up on kanji for when I go to Japan this fall, lol

I only have one more question: how much of Vitamin X is voiced? One thing I really loved about TMGS2 was the voices... I think I'd give up quickly if it was just full of text and timed tests and no voices...

Thanks again! XDDDD

Actually, the questions in Vitamin X aren't extremely hard. I mean, I managed to beat the game and I'm about as clueless as you get XD. Vitamin X is fully voiced (the version I have) although I heard that there was a cheaper version that wasn't fully voiced so be careful you don't accidentally buy that one (I almost did because the price was so tempting DX)

The timer is actually as bad as I make it seem (I managed to get through most of the questions with more than half of the time remaining) I just freak out more easily on timed games :P

I only just noticed this survey..

1. What's your all-time favorite otome game?
It would be Tokimeki Memorial Girl's side Second Season. Then La Corda PC which tags along.

2. What are the game features that you like in that particular game?
The voice- makes it so much easier for me to understand because I'm too lazy to read and my jap is an amateur level. The art and the gameplay. Touch screen and how it can say our names~

3. What are the game features that you dislike in that particular game?
I guess that the stat raising can get a bit boring sometimes ...

4. If the game would to have a sequel/spinoff/port to another game console, what feature do you think should be included or removed from the game?
Um... I'm not sure myself... make your own heroine? XP
