Ok, for Duel Love, the storyline is... well in my personal opinion, almost non-existent. It's more of a hands-on game and definitely makes more use of the DS features than most of the other otome games (although it's definitely a bit iffy. If you going to play it outside the house, you definitely need to bring earphones, unless you WANT to explain why there are moans coming from you DS >//<) But it's also much simpler in terms of gameplay and translation (not nearly enough text or knowledge required)

VitaminX on the other hand (which, may I add has a freaking kick ass opening song) is much more text and story oriented, and you also have to have a bit of knowledge on Japanese culture and language, since it takes place in the school and there are a couple of quizes in the storyline you have to pass to continue. However, I'd have to say the storyline is much more fun and character development is better. It's also funnier in my opinion, but I could never get through it since I know zip about Japan itself...ahaha... and the timer. Ugh, I can't play any games with timers cause I won't be able to get the right answer in time (or it takes me too long to read and the time runs out and...yeah...)

Oh, thanks for all the info! I had kinda gotten the gist that Vitamin X was more text-heavy and that Duel Love involved a lot of touching from various reviews... Are the questions in Vitamin X really hard?? I guess they must be a little since the makers want it to be challenging for the Japanese people playing it... Maybe that would be good practice for me since this summer I'm really going to need to work on my speed-reading and brush up on kanji for when I go to Japan this fall, lol

I only have one more question: how much of Vitamin X is voiced? One thing I really loved about TMGS2 was the voices... I think I'd give up quickly if it was just full of text and timed tests and no voices...

Thanks again! XDDDD

Actually, the questions in Vitamin X aren't extremely hard. I mean, I managed to beat the game and I'm about as clueless as you get XD. Vitamin X is fully voiced (the version I have) although I heard that there was a cheaper version that wasn't fully voiced so be careful you don't accidentally buy that one (I almost did because the price was so tempting DX)

The timer is actually as bad as I make it seem (I managed to get through most of the questions with more than half of the time remaining) I just freak out more easily on timed games :P
