Welcome to the otomegame lj community where fans can gather and talk about otome games!
I am one of the maintainers of this comm. (hakukumo created this comm; I am just the
tagalong)
In this comm, I hope that fans would be able to talk about all kinds of otome games that exist on different platforms with others and exchange faqs/walkthroughs/tips for their games.
So, feel free to join and post about your favourite otome game and to share anything that you may have! (Offical merchandise/Fanworks are welcomed!).
I hope that we can get more members soon ^^;;
Here's some questions to start the ball rolling!
1. What's your all-time favorite otome game? (Please state the platform of the game as well aka what game console it is on.)
2. What are the game features (note: please be aware of putting spoilers ><;;) that you like in that particular game?
3. What are the game features (note: please be aware of putting spoilers ><;;) that you dislike in that particular game?
4. If the game would to have a sequel/spinoff/port to another game console, what feature do you think should be included or removed from the game?

Here's my answer:
1. Harukanaru Toki no Nake de, GBA version (Yeah, my very first otome game, laugh if you want but if it had not for this game, I wouldn't be hooked to otome games, seriously. And at times I would just put down my DS and find my GBA to play that game again. ><;;)
2. Fighting! You actually get to fight in the game; the otome games that I usually encounter are those games that you raise stats and date the guy that you want to get.
3. Graphics and sound are meh. (Not much to except from a GBA game) Story is cliched.
4. There are many sequels/spinoffs/ports already done but I really wished that they had incorporated a voice for the miko that you are playing.
PS: I see we have 4 members already! (Me included) XD
