1) I had originally intended to lend towards the idea that Owen actually burned down his parents' home, but I left it out because I wanted the reader to decide whether he did or not (that was why I had the scene of him playing with the lighter).

2) I actually had to fight with myself over whether Eames and Arthur would hook up before the end of the fic; I know how everyone wanted them together since it is technically ArthurxEames, but I decided to wait because I felt like what was happening between them -- the awkwardness, the vulnerability, etc-- I felt like that was so much more important than them making kissy faces at one another over the breakfast table ( ... )

1) Oh this scene really freaked me out. So goal achieved. ;)

2) I think that was an appropriate to handle their relationship in this situation!

1) Believe it or not, I originally intended for this to be a lot more light-hearted, even comedic. Clearly, that didn't happen. The drama fairy came and smacked me upside the head ( ... )

The Bite Hard verse please! I still remember the scene and dialogue between the two of them near the end of Bite Hard where Arthur saying that he wants to become something they both can be proud of, wants to be as beautiful as Eames always saying... and their dance, the song and everything. It was so heartbreaking, and yet beautiful. That was why I got so frustrated with Eames in Grace Under Pressure. Anyway, I really love this verse and do re-read whenever the feelings swarm inside me. So anything about this verse would be great and mean a lot to me!

All right, well this was a hell of a roller-coaster for me. I really struggled through GUP by the end of it because it was frustrating me as well, mostly because Bite Hard went pretty much exactly as I planned, lol ( ... )
