Well the cake came out successful. The kids loved it and they even ate it.

I made 2 portions of an "Easy Sponge Cake" from a book I have that is called "teatime treats"

January 20th marks DS's birthday.
This year we are going all out.

He will be celebrating with MIL and FIL. (1/24)
He will be celebrating with my dad. (1/23)

PTA meeting: went really well. Teacher says he is brilliant for his age.

However she has some concerns still about his confidence. What I like to call fidgety behavior which I'm pretty sure comes from nerves or some sort of embarrassment, since he is a shy boy.

So the kid's birthdays are coming up. I don't have any plans for DD save for making a fuss of her. She's going to have her baby well check up and get shots that day. Sheesh.

I did get her a gift, but my dad forgot it in England. I've asked my brother to send it by mail.
