So I finally got around to watching Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is awesome. Toph is awesome. I desire a spinoff in which Toph and Zuko search for his mother.

So I finally managed to get LaTale downloaded, and I'm having some fun with it. It's certainly the kind of game I can play in 15 minute bursts. It's cute, the controls are pretty easy, the quests are really easy so far.... I just wish that there was a skill up tutorial to let me know how to gain more skills.. But I figured it out! So I heard about this 2d anime-ish side scrolling MMORPG called LaTale from one of my friends here on LJ, and I think it looks interesting. I've never really been a Kira fan. Izuru was always that pansy with the weird shaped sword. But after 323, I gotta say, he's got some kickass in him.

Alton Brown has reached new levels of AWESOMENESS. He has managed to convince Food Network to pay him to sail around the Caribbean, so he can stop at different islands and ports to taste local food. Just so we're clear, they are paying him to cruise and eat.

I will meet Alton Brown, and I will call him Sensei.

I have no idea why I'm so nervous about this ride along in Person County... It's a small county in the Bible Belt, and my shift starts at 8 in the morning, so I'm not too worried for the beginning of the day. They'll probably all be in church or something. But after that?
