I used to have a maid (yeah, yeah laugh! LOL). I did watch her, on occasion, since she seemed to get everything done in 1/10000000th the time it took /me/ to do the same things

HAHAHAHA! Yes, they can! I know -- it was a novice experiment for me to begin with (I think more like a man than a woman...doh!). You'd be amazed at those who NEVER clean their blinds *coughmen*cough**sneeze*. Hopefully, there are few of *those* lurking around and reading, so that we don't suffer when visiting :D I know my sinus cavities will be happier :D lol ;-)
I used to have miniblinds, but they got so yellowed and dirty that I ripped them down and replaced them with honeycomb solar blinds that can be swished off with a Swiffer . . . well, theoretically. ;-)
SEEEEE! You're a smoker, aren't ya? Confess!! lol :)
The solar blinds STILL have to be cleaned!! :) I'm not sure a Swiffer will do it, but I KNOW THE BATHTUB WILL!!! :D Don't fear exposing your blinds to cleansers!!! Heh. :D
Half the blinds in the house we are renting are actual wood blinds. They're mostly broken, grr...I don't think any of them have the sticks on them still, or a way to attach them (the whole twisting contraption is broken off) and some even have broken strings. Very frustrating. Anyway, I know they haven't been cleaned in ages, if ever, but swiffering them only seems to embed dust into the somewhat rough surface of the wood. They're painted white, so they just look dirty. Can those be cleaned in water? Or another way? I've been afraid to try, although now that I think about it, I'm not sure I could ruin them anymore than they are already ruined. :)
Also, I found this cart online and thought it a possible alternative to the apron if anyone was anti-apron but likes the idea of carrying supplies with them. :)
