...in which I am referring to Japanese TV shows and not emo angst, at least for the time being.
For whatever reason I've been catching a lot of J-DRAMA recently and I'm finally finding myself watching the famous Densha Otoko which I suppose I should like more but I find myself thinking that this show might be a bit over-hyped. I love the premise of ( Read more... )

The issue I had with Densha was that the director's viewpoint of our lead is almost hellishly stereotypical, bordering on finger-pointing. That alone makes much of the show an uncomfortable experience for me..and not in a "pinch-self-on-the-side & laugh" way either. Its one of those shows that benefits from the supporting cast.

And speaking of cool dorama..Give Sapuri a shot! Kame & Misaki Ito are great.

He is also of the bishi-pop group Kat-Tun..dear god,why do I know this? But I do dig Ito immensely!

well all know you're a woman trapped in a man's body . . or something like that. even I don't like Kat~tun or however they want to spell their damn name. :P
