First, I've had a wonderful, wonderful holiday. Truly wonderful! It was awesome to visit three so different countries in such a short time. It made the differences more obvious and I felt I got to experience the "typical" tourist places of each respective country, as well as getting a glimpse of the local life.

This was a lovely read :)

I also regrettet not buying a lace umbrella in Italy, when I was in Florence. However, they were very expensive.

I found some on the internet though:

I always used to stay at Regent Palace hotel when I was younger. Do they still have toilets and bathromms in the hall? So you have to call a maid if you want to take a bath?
I loved that hotel, how much does it cost now?

Erm.. Honestly I cannot remember the price right now... I'll check when I get home. It wasn't bad, that's all I remember.

We had a (tiny-tiny) bathroom ensuite, so I don't know if you still have to call for a maid. Sounds cute, though! :D

I liked the hotel. It wasn't top standard, but more than enough for me on my random London trips.

It sounds as if you had a lovely time. I think you went with the same Ripper guide as Bengt and I did when we did that walk. And you walked all the way from Spitafields/Whitechapel to Piccadilly Circus! I did that sometimes when I lived in London, very nice, though not as hot as it must have been for you.

I promise that I will love the Phantom souvenir brouchure!

And I am jealous of your visit to Venice. I want to go there!
