Remodeling costumes might be the most boring thing ever. But I have a couple of old costumes I can't squeeze myself into to save my life. Apparently I've gained a LOT of weight since 2003. I don't feel all that bigger, but the costumes don't lie

It's sewn to the underside of the pink flounced skirt on one side, and attached with velcro (still on the underside) on the opposite side. The waistband I attached it to is sewn to the waistband of the pink skirt.
I'm glad you liked the updates! No point in having all these pictures if they're not displayed online. I have a whole CD full of old costume pictures, especially from the making progress. Time to get it online.

As for the Italian Renaissance dresses, they didn't wear a corset at this point. The bodice were stiffened, and sometimes gathering waistband would be used. But I don't think that will be enough to squeeze myself into the pink Bronzino dress... Booooh.
