More Luffy prompts?

How about having something absolutely awful happening to Luffy, then Zoro has to comfort his captain. Prefer something a little more serious and sad than the usual Op fare.

I agree with that totally, but read the request as asking for something awful happening to Luffy personally... and then there is movie 6, which I don't fancy going up against on the angst stakes... *quails again*

And, well, the fact that I take evil joy in doing nasty things to Luffy. (I love him really. I do! Honest!)

I did think of something and begin writing, but I've only had chance to do a little bit so far.

Hm... I have a few questions about this one now. I know you left it very open, so I started a story and was just going to go for it, but I accidentally wrote melted Luffy fic in between and now I'm rethinking ideas of how to make this Luffy h/c into a distinctly different story from that one.

So, um, do you have a preference whether the Something Awful is resolved in the story or left open ended and potentially quite dark?

Did you have any particular thing in mind more than any other, ie, torture, rape, other injury or disability, something happening to the crew as someone else mentioned?

Or do you not mind any of these things and is the ZoLu h/c the most important thing at the end of the day?

Op here- Really, I'm the least picky person in the universe. As long as it has the Zolu h/c, I'm satisfied.

The way it's done and everything else, I leave to you, anon because I love seeing how things go and turn out.

And... you're melted Luffy writer-anon? :D *does a happy dance* I love that fic so hard.

Before he could press for elaboration on that, a chuckle sounded behind them, and abruptly Luffy's hand was over his face and he found himself shoved to the deck by desperately-mustered rubbery strength. At the same time, he could hear Luffy yelling -- no, shrieking almost -- "Sanji, get down! Cover your eyes!"

Eyes. The marines had -- God damn. He shoved at Luffy's hand. The marines had a few non-standard quirks of uniform, which he hadn't paid much attention to before because every commander had his own eccentricities and tended put their own stamp on things. But these, for instance, were every man of them very comprehensively wearing their uniforms, even down to gloves. Most notable were the black bandanas tied about their foreheads or loose around their necks, which they were dragging to cover their faces even now. Some of them had placed hands or arms over their eyes as well, ceasing whatever they were doing mid-blow as though Sanji's imminent oncoming foot was a comparatively minor concern

I probably will continue this anyway sooner or later as someone else is reading and I already have a draft of a second chapter and most of a third, but I'm not sure if this is what you were hoping for from this prompt, so it would just help to know where I am because this feels sort of in limbo at the moment.
