I'm slightly annoyed by how heteronormative the movie was, with the exception of the one bi girl, the lightly implied foursome, and the booze so strong it could turn even a male stripper gay. Especially considering how it was marketed, that is. But then, gay men weren't part of the original target audience, so I guess it makes sense we'd be largely ignored in the mainstream yet again.

like, idk when i saw the trailers for magic mike, the plot looked meh and the stripping part was really played up, so i'm not sure how many people of any gender are going out in droves to see this movie strictly for its plot and meaning~
