He won't.
Because Trump rewrote his own history so he never did anything bad, ever.

Either dementia or general narcissism, Trump won't answer because he literally thinks it's a hoax intended to make him look bad.

I mean - according to WaPo, he's already denying the tape and saying it was staged. Figure that one out.

The fact that not only Trump but also other male politicians are succesfully ducking responsibility for their despicable behavior really exposes the cynical heart of American politics imo. A few years ago it seemed like powerful men in religion were finally starting to answer for their sins. Recently powerful men in business appear to be facing consequences, in particular men in the entertainment and media industries. But even as society in general becomes less tolerant of systemic sexual abuse, powerful men in politics are forgiven because people are more interested in legislative wins than taking a moral stand. The performed contrition of these assholes would be a lot more believable if they actively pursued legislation to avoid similar abuse happening in the future, but they do not ( ... )
