If he wants a shot at starting XI, Liverpool is begging for one. BEGGING.

With regards to Casillas, as much as I sympathise over his issues from 2012 to now, he's still had a storied career of both domestic and international honours - and should have done a Xabi and Xavi and stepped away from the National Team. No one would have held it against him. No one.

With regards to international honours, I think it's best that Casillas steps aside, tbh, and let the young uns find and define their own team (Isco and Ramos already have the Real Madrid ish locked down, if that's a concern). But that's up to del Bosque, no? He doesn't have to call up Casillas, and Spain has the young gun that's de Gea. Wowzers.
