Perez: Khedira's injury happened with the NT

Sep 05, 2014 17:04

Seems there is a difference of opinion between the DFB (Deutscher Fußball Bund) and Florentino Pérez. While the DFB insists that Khedira was already injured when he joined the team for the friendly, Pérez says Khedira was fine when he left Madrid to fly to Germany. Of course - and how could it be otherwise - it's all a matter of money and insurance ( Read more... )

Bayern once (or even twice? not sure) had that problem with Robben. It was a huge thing, I remember.

I know Sir Alex Ferguson withheld a few player from NT call ups because he got fed up of them doing that. Also, Arsene Wenger likened it to lending your friend a car and he takes it for a joy ride, and when it comes back your bumper is hanging off, your gear boxes don't work... something's gotta give.

No it's not.

Sami didn't train with the NT. He had a scan on arrival. He was scanned before leaving Madrid and told it was nothing. Madrid's doctors were wrong.

Bierhoff (and I trust him before I trust Perez) has said Sami arrived injured, and basically said (politely) that Madrid's doctors are incompetent.

Which they are.

Perez needs every source of income he can get, what with the huge debt RM carries. :D All I care about is Sami.
