First sign that Kris always picks my favorite songs : A Song for you. Thank you Idol Extra for showing the extended version of it and screw you producers. But I had kept the little clip of Kris singing it back then so I guess I noticed him anyway.

i just downloaded this one recently, after watching the episode it was from, and it's so good! especially the second chorus, that part always makes me want to dance. i wish it went on for longer. also his performance of it is adorable.

I play this song CONSTANTLY in my car. I don't remember the performance as much (I really do need to do a rewatch when i have some open time) but god is the studio adorable.

I love the studio. Live version? Not so much. Vocals were a not of a mess at the end but it was certainly very good up to that point.

What rocks, though, was the dancing and those frakking arms. Oh My Lord.

I have great appreciation for the fact that Kris snuck in a Bob Dylan song during Grand Ole Opry week. Boy knew what the fuck he was doing! Also, I think this is probably my most favorite pure vocal from the whole season. It was gorgeous.

I'm pretty sure this was when I truly fell in love with Kris. Such a beautiful song, and he did so well by it.
