I missed this one the first time around, but I've watched it a gazillion times since. Never has someone deserved the pimp spot so much. It still pisses me off that not a single one of the judges could bring themselves to say it was the best of the night, even though it was UNDENIABLE!

This arrangement is kick-ass. The whole chord change thing he did with all those "I KNOW"s was fucking awesome.

If I go back and watch the performances in order, this is where I know bb Kris is truly in it to win it.

This is the moment I fell in love with Kris. I was a fan before, but hadn't become emotionally invested in anyone yet.

This performance gave me goosebumps - it was absolutely a 'moment' for me. I hate that the judges didn't give him enough credit on a night he was clearly the best, but what does any of that matter now. :D

I don't like the song. It doesn't really go anywhere so I think it was doomed from the start. He did say that this was basically the only choice he had...

I had kind of mostly given up on watching this season until I read somewhere that Kris was singing this song for Movie week. It made me watch again, and it was so beautiful. It wasn't a perfect vocal, but I don't know if I have EVER been so moved by an AI performance. It just totally got to me.

After this song, no other contestant had a chance with me.

This one is so moving. I think that's what eventually made me fall in love with Kris as a singer as well (music-wise I was strictly pro-Adam for the longest time).

I didn't really know the song. I had probably heard it once during the Oscars but that's it.
Kris made me fall in love with it and watch the movie.
Made me cry too.
All that equals undying love for Kris.

Yeah, um, I feel like I could write a whole fucking book on the genius of this song choice, this arrangement, the performance, etc. If you don't recognize Kris's talent and skillz from this song, then I don't want to know you!

I PEED WHEN I FOUND OUT HE WAS DOING THIS SONG. It's one of my all time favorites, and it was amazing. He did SO good with it.
