Kairi had shut her laptop after she had given her address to Namine. She had only talked to the other girl for a little while, yet she seemed so eager to meet the redhead. Not that Kairi minded much, of course. New friends were always welcome, and she always had a place in her heart for at least one more

This was it. This was really it. Hearing the call to wait Namine tried to use the time to calm herself down. But it was all dashed to pieces the second the door was opened.
"Yes. I-I'm Namine. Hello Kairi." She was so nervous she almost corrected the name. But she guessed she already looked crazy enough without saying something like 'who's Namine?'....yeah that was just asking to have a door shut in her face and all credibility denied. She had decided to change her name back for a reason. Minna hadn't been brave enough to do this.
"Thank you" Namine smiled back in spite of the mess that was her thoughts at the moment. She had been raised to be polite after all, and Kairi had been nothing but kind. She walked into the entry way and turned to face the other girl once again.
Oh...They had their differences yes, obviously so. But if Namine had been wearing shorter shoes they would have been the same height, and...there were things about the shape of her face and her eyes that were as familiar as looking in a mirror. She remembered

When Namine walked in, Kairi smiled as she closed the door and leaned her hand against the doorframe, taking as much weight as possible off of her feet. "It's nice to meet you," she started, looking over at her before she felt a dull pressure against one of her casts. Glancing down, she saw the black kitten of hers, and she bent to pick it up, then looked back at the blonde. "Though I'm curious as to why you wanted to see me so soon. Is everything all right

"Okay." Namine agreed, it might help. It might also help if she could tell the future and see if this was some big mistake. For what she could guess, Adal, her sister, was right here. Right here and alive and...Why was she limping?
"Are you alright?" She asked as she came to sit beside the other girl. She hoped Kairi was well. Even if she wasn't Adal, she was a nice person and Namine felt like they could be friends. Realizing that she was kind of trying to find a way to distract herself Namine began to fiddle with the charm around her neck eyes focused on the fabric of the couch. What was she supposed to say? 'I think you're my long lost twin and is that okay with you?' didn't seem to cut it.
"I wanted to talk to you about...Kairi, I need you to promise you'll just listen to me okay? If I'm wrong then feel free to tell me to go but I... I needed to know." Namine knew she was sort of rambling and she knew it. But this was not something most people dealt with.
