dellamemoria and Kairi
memoria_persa
What: A blast from the past
Where: Kairi's house
When: Day 88

Namine was out the door the moment she had copied down the address, pulling out her phone to call a taxi once she was in the hall.

It couldn't be this easy. Fate, karma, whatever....It had never been this kind to her.  She hadn't been in the city a week and already there might be... Namine refused to get her hopes up. If Kairi wasn't who Namine hoped she was then she seemed like the kind of person to take it in stride. She would probably understand why Namine was clinging to the idea that she would find her sister. Even if this was only coincidence, then she might still at least find a friend. And that was better then nothing.

Who was she kidding...She not only had her hopes up but was practically frantic wanting to know and not wanting to at the same time. There was a chance that this could be everything she had waited for since she was a little girl.

As the cab pulled up she handed the driver the piece of paper and waited through the ride, her stomach full of butterflies.

Please be Adal. Please

Once the man stopped she handed him the money and took back the paper.  Namine went up the walk to the house slowly, her heart hammering against her ribs.

Please.

Once she got to the door her courage wavered. What if this wasn't her? What if it was and she didn't believe her? What if she told Namine to leave, thought she was crazy, anything...

It would do no good for her to stand here all day and do nothing. She couldn't.  She had to know and if she was right then that would be worth coming to this city. Entirely worth it.

Namine reached up and knocked on the door. She had to know.

namine, kairi russo
