[Today finds Irvine more resigned to his fate than he has been since his dramatic and controversial arrival. He's meandering about town, getting to know the place. He checks out a book from the library that he's never read and probably never will read anyway. He even heads to Good Spirits to see if they have an age limit on drinking.

[The cold snap bit at the toes of restful sleepers this morning as they continued to doze. It's quite the change from the summer's heat, so it's not unusual for two bodies to huddle together for some extra warmth under the covers. In fact, such a thing seems to be happening at a certain household right now, in a certain mechanic's bed...]
