One of my favorite professors from Pitt died today. (T_T) All I can say is at least she died doing something she loved (fishing that is.) and that she seemed to enjoy every bit of her time on earth.

Summer reading.
Do you ever end up in a reading rut? I mean, not that is always a bad thing, but the last three things I read were set in Iran. I already plan to read a book called Funny in Farsi before the summer is up, but I can't help but think I'm entering a rut since Persepolis 2 is on my want-to-read list as well ( Read more... ) -

Two high school age girls walk up to my little electronics counter.
Then one of them places a disposable camera on my counter as the other asks, "Do you keep the extra film for these cameras too?"
I have to blink at this one twice.
