So I decided to take my new bike out for a ride all by myself for the first time. First I had to get the front wheel back on. Which you'd think would be easy, but turned out to be kind of hard. I just got off the phone with Jon. I talked to him for about 20 or 30 minutes. My roommates are watching The Mighty Ducks, which apparently has special appeal for Minnesotans (it was filmed in Minneapolis and involves hockey). They've all seen it at least a few times. I went to bed real early last night. (Again.) I was writing in one of the cabins and my arm got real tired and sore. So I laid down and rested. I'm not sure how I feel. Not as excited as I should be, I think. Lonely, although these last few weeks have been perhaps the un-loneliest I've felt since coming to Houston, or since Oberlin for that matter. I guess I should start packing. That'll make it seem real. That'll make it exciting.
