Shameful Consumerist Urges
I want a netbook. You know, one of those itty-bitty cute little computers. They just look like so much fun. And so convenient. And the low-end ones come with linux, which would be really cool since I'd finally learn linux. (I've wanted to have a linux "box"--as Brian would call it--ever since high school. I'd even made Jon install it on an old computer at one point. But I never quite figured it out, and after that I always kept my laptops till they died, and you can't exactly format your one and only computer. Not to mention that it voided the warranty and I'd always read that if you wanted to install linux, laptop hardware isn't exactly the best way for beginners to start.) But yeah, I'd finally get some geeky chick points too, even though everything would come pre-installed. So there. That's my consumerist dream.
