Pretentious drivel

Been reading a book. Not something I often do, but it was writ by a friend of a friend, name of Jim. Just published this year. The man in the middle, Plan R, gave _wind_spirit_ and me two copies. It's an attempt to teach modern-day seekers what Jesus taught and what the Buddha taught. It has its pluses and its minuses, and it's not something I'd ordinarily ( Read more... )

Need more money? Banish the thought. Decide that you have more money. Presumably without doing anything stupid, of course.

The problem with it is that it depends on a context in which it's possible to need more money, and thereby helps perpetuate the context. The Law of Projection doesn't. To some folks it matters; to others it's the difference between a concavity and a convexity in two interpretations of a song.

I suppose I can tell you that I have some kind of "mojo"; I believe that i am able to create situations for myself to be to my liking because... In the past... I have. But typically this has been by seeing things as "everything will be okay" without putting any rules on how or why or when, then remaining open to novel solutions and surprises, not by imagining that a five hundred dollar bill was going to show up.

The worst possible thing for my "mojo" was discovering Law of Attraction - it STOPPED WORKING.

I haven't seen you operate in that mode in a long time. Maybe if you go back to it, you'll get the results you were getting then.
