Rules for surviving a scary movie

Oct 24, 2010 22:17

I ... accidentally watched the whole of 'Scream' online. I found the first part while searching for something funny to send my sister at Halloween and then ... I couldn't stop watching.

This was a mistake. I'm definitely not sending her a copy of 'Scream'. Please no one say "I'll be right back" for at least the next week. Thanks. There are the ( Read more... )

Oishi, it's just a movie. Plus, you have something the characters in the movie don't. Me A brain in your head. You'd never get yourself into such a situation.

Me, on the other hand, I have my own way of surviving that sort of thing. I've been around Chinen way too long. That, and I find someone trying to stab me vastly amusing as they'll end up regretting it, if they are still breathing after I'm through with them. So, if you come across a psycho killer, by all means, send him my way.

In the movie it was the boyfriend who did it. And you're ... well ... you could do it. Easily. Within the commercial break of this movie.

... Not that we're ... I mean, I don't mean to compare you with ... I ... am going to delete this post.

I ... guess I wouldn't be at a party full of drunken teenagers. Especially not if half my friends had recently been stabbed.

Perhaps I should learn some hand-to-hand techniques.

You make my point for me.

I might be biased, but I think everyone should know some hand-to-hand. I could teach you some basic self-defense.

I think I would like that, Kite. It would be useful, even if I don't need it on the island.

Of course not. The end of the movie in particular was bloody and AWFUL unlikely. It just ... made me jump.

NO.

I'm ... fine. It's just a movie. I should be too old to be scared by it!

I suppose, but "should be" rarely translates to "am", in my experience...

If you don't like scary movies, why did you watch it?

I didn't mean to but once I'd started, it was hard to stop. It's like with a book when you want to know how it all works out in the end. Except in this case, it worked out by most people being dead.
