FINALLY dropped the car off at Midas last night. Today they fixed the brakes and AC/Heater fan. They also replaced two, um, OTs? Something that controls the mix of fuel and air. BUT those needed replacing because something else (the mass air spectrometer?) was malfuntioning and had also caused my catalytic converter to burn out. They had to order ( Read more... )

Dave and I talked it over today and decided to skip Penguicon this year, because I can't guarantee I'm not going to have assloads of homework that weekend. Not doing it isn't a viable option. I'm still going to Capricon-I figure I can go home and work on things as needed.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'll make it either but as long as the car stays healthy I can at least consider it.

C, Grave is closest. But what I was really talking about is the cement box they put caskets in (somewhat like the one shown in Fig. C, but solid on three sides with a lid.
I'm staying with "the cement thing they put the casket into before re-filling the grave".
