Get the fuck out of here with that dumbass clickbait headline. She really said this:
"People think I hate being famous. I don't. I'm really frightened of it. Watching Amy deteriorate is one of the reasons I'm a bit frightened. We were all very entertained by her being a mess.
"I was f****** sad about it but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I'd look at it. That level of attention is frightening."

After reading the headline I went straight to the source cause I knew it wasn't going to be an accurate description. I was right.

He's a pathetic caricature of a catty misogynistic gay guy from WEHO. Of course he only trashes women.

Same thing happened with Britney and Amanda Bynes, too.

her full quote because I'm sure people are gonna come for her without reading it in full context:

Adele said: "People think I hate being famous. I don't. I'm really frightened of it. Watching Amy deteriorate is one of the reasons I'm a bit frightened. We were all very entertained by her being a mess.

"I was f****** sad about it but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I'd look at it. That level of attention is frightening."

I think we all were sad yet entertained when it happened lbr, ONTD was created for judging celebs

yeah, if you go back to the original ontd posts about amy it was really brutal. it was a weird time where everyone could obviously see that she had a huge problem but no one even pretended to be concerned and just treater her as a huge joke. i wonder if she was still alive today and still having these problems if there would be more sympathy or not...

The same happened with Amanda Bynes. The girl was obviously having a mental breakdown and yet everyone was so gleeful about her making a fool of herself (and that glee wasn't nearly limited to ontd). There are actually a quite few female celebrities whose breakdowns were treated as entertainment.

In a post about how she poured gasoline on her dog while trying to set fire to someone's driveway a person commented that 'some people will do anything to be famous."

I stayed out of Amanda posts after that.

the original quote was:
"People think I hate being famous. I don't. I'm really frightened of it. Watching Amy deteriorate is one of the reasons I'm a bit frightened. We were all very entertained by her being a mess.
"I was f****** sad about it but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I'd look at it. That level of attention is frightening."
