I mean, I'm never really in favor of killing any animals, but cats are really good hunters and can have a devastating impact on wildlife if their numbers are out of control.

cats have a devastating impact on wildlife even when their numbers AREN'T out of control. one of my cats became such a good hunter that he was literally wiping out all of the rabbits and bluebirds in our neighborhood, we had to start keeping him indoors 24/7. thinking of what 10 of him could do to an ecosystem is scary

Cats are scary sometimes, tbqh. My friend's cat is the sweetest little fur-ball, but every once in a while, she'll dart out the backdoor and come back about 10 minutes later with a fresh kill.
