Brooklyn was interesting for me because I liked it but also didnt because I love Domhnall and didnt care for the other dude. I obviously understand why she 'chose' Brooklyn but I kind of wish she ended up alone? I honestly dont even remember the movie much but I remember that being my feeling.

I really enjoy her generally. With that list, I realized that I dont necessarily LOVE her movies but I find her really great and enjoyable to watch

Yes omg that other guy was so…. Not it. Meanwhile domhnall🥰🥰like maybe I’d get choosing to stay in Brooklyn given the situation in Ireland then but not with that flop

I wish Brooklyn was on streaming!

I am really glad that even as a child actress she seemed very protected and had good people around her. I don't know if it's because she did movies as compared to TV but it's amazing how she still enjoys acting

She and Hozier have really introduced me to the “errrrm” Irish thing when talking and I wish I had it! It better than “like” lol

I watched the 90’s one for the first time recently and I couldn’t believe how much I preferred it. I cried twice lol

Yeah I don't think preferring the 90s one is nostalgia it's just genuinely better. In the new version when Laurie is obsessing about marrying Jo it seems to come out of completely nowhere.

I really liked the new one but mostly because I liked the way it captured the frenetic energy of the book.
